Microsoft Copilot is a modern ecosystem of artificial intelligence tools that can support employees’ everyday work, reducing the time spent on repetitive tasks and helping teams work faster, in a more organised way and with greater consistency.
The course focuses on practical use of Copilot in the daily life of a business. Participants learn how to write good prompts, how to check and improve the results they get, and how to build Copilot into tasks such as drafting text, summarising information, preparing meetings, managing email, creating presentations and analysing data.
Free Copilot
The free version of Copilot suits users who want to get to know what artificial intelligence can do and use it for simple everyday tasks. It can help with generating ideas, writing and improving text, summarising general information, translating, organising notes and quickly preparing content.
At this level participants learn to use Copilot in a safe and practical way, understanding when it can help them, how to phrase clear instructions, and how to evaluate the result before using it in a professional setting.
Microsoft 365 Copilot
Microsoft 365 Copilot extends Copilot’s capabilities into the applications employees use every day, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. Its core value is that it works inside the user’s working environment and can support tasks already being done daily, significantly reducing the time needed to prepare, process and organise information.
Participants learn how to use Copilot to create first drafts of documents, summarise long texts, analyse email, prepare for meetings, organise minutes and actions, create presentations, and draw conclusions from data in a faster, more structured way.
Typical topics include:
-
Understanding the Microsoft Copilot ecosystem and the main differences between Free Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot
-
Basic principles of using prompts correctly for more accurate, useful and professional answers
-
Using Copilot to write, reword, summarise and improve professional text
-
Using Copilot in Word to create drafts, summaries and alternative versions of text
-
Using Copilot in Outlook to summarise email, prioritise messages and write replies
-
Using Copilot in Teams to prepare meetings, summarise discussions and capture key actions
-
Using Copilot in PowerPoint to create a presentation structure, improve content and tailor the message to the audience
-
Using Copilot in Excel to understand data, create formulas, spot trends and support reporting
-
Everyday time-saving scenarios for managers, sales, finance departments, secretarial support and project teams
-
Good practices for checking output, security and responsible use of Copilot’s results
Particular emphasis is placed on reducing time spent on everyday processes, such as reading long emails, writing replies, preparing documents, turning notes into clean text, creating presentations, and drawing conclusions from information that would otherwise need a lot of manual review.
The training is adapted to the applications and processes your company uses, so employees learn practical ways to use Copilot on real scenarios from their daily work, not only on generic examples.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to use Copilot in a more effective, safe and productive way, cutting the time they spend on repetitive tasks and focusing more on work of higher value to the business.
