Databases

Sound organisation, storage, search and use of business information.

The Databases courses are for managers, analysts, developers and teams who handle business information and want a real understanding of how to organise, store, search and use data correctly.

The training covers both the basic principles of database design and practical techniques for using databases in real business scenarios, such as reporting, data entry, searching for information, connecting applications and supporting decision-making.

The syllabus is shaped by the participants’ level and the technologies your company uses. The aim is for learners to understand not only how a database works, but also how to use it correctly, safely and consistently in daily work.

  • SQL and relational databases: basic design principles, tables, relationships, keys, queries, filters, sorting, joins, aggregate results and report building.

  • MongoDB and NoSQL databases: the basic concepts of document-based storage, collections, documents, searching, updating and deleting data, basic modelling principles and uses in modern applications.

  • Microsoft Access: building simple business databases, tables, queries, forms, reports, relationships and basic automation for internal use.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to understand the logic of how a database works, read and use data in a more organised way, take part more effectively in data-related projects, and communicate better with technical teams or external partners.
